Public Records brings several different listening environments together in Brooklyn. The Nursery adds an outdoor setting for live performances and DJ events; its system is documented separately from the indoor rooms.

Indoor Sound Room (OJAS / Global Audio Systems): Void Nexus XL sub stacks, OJAS quad-15 slot-loaded midbass, Altec 1505B multicells and Faital super-tweeters, Void/BGW/BSS amplification and processing, four Technics SL-1200MK2 and four CDJ-2000NXS2 on a custom Isonoe mixer. Bar Room: replica Altec 816 midbass, OJAS cabinets with 500 Hz horns and Altec HF, Void Venu 115 subs, Crown/BGW analogue amps, two 1200MK2 and two CDJ-2000NXS2. Outdoor Nursery: OJAS × NNNN fully horn-loaded four-way.
A later Atrium chapter flies six OJAS × NNNN ON M I (NNNN Avant 30 bass horn + OJAS multicell) with eight OJAS × NNNN TL18 subs. This is architectural horn work at club scale: multicells for midrange envelope, slot-loaded or horn bass for punch, separate rooms so listening and dancing do not share a compromise pair.

About the sound system
How the system serves the room
Public Records should be read as several installations. The indoor Sound Room uses substantial bass and midbass sections with horn-loaded upper frequencies; the Bar Room has its own speaker and amplifier chain; the outdoor Nursery uses the OJAS × NNNN four-way system.
That separation allows different coverage and output requirements to be addressed in each space. Multi-way systems also require careful crossover and time alignment, while the DJ booth needs monitoring that lets selectors hear clearly without forcing the audience system louder. The equipment list documents the parts, not a single universal signal path for the whole venue.
