Crown’s installed-audio work includes amplification within networked HARMAN systems. Its technical material explains how BLU link can distribute audio between compatible amplifiers, processors and accessories. Such connectivity can simplify larger installations, but it should only be attributed to a venue when the actual models and connections are documented.

A Crown Macro-Tech 5002 is listed in Public Records’ Bar Room amplification, alongside BGW equipment and analogue crossovers.

Inside the system

Public Records should be read as several installations. The indoor Sound Room uses substantial bass and midbass sections with horn-loaded upper frequencies; the Bar Room has its own speaker and amplifier chain; the outdoor Nursery uses the OJAS × NNNN four-way system.
