Custom wall install, not a pair of boxes: Devon Turnbull / OJAS horn-loaded, Altec-inspired loudspeakers are built into the room by Steven Durr Designs and Soundlux Audio, with a bank of amplifiers hidden in the same wall. High-efficiency multicell horns throw presence and midrange body at modest volume — the point of a Nashville kissa homage — while Technics SL-1200-family decks keep the source familiar to visiting selectors. Because the horns are architectural, the system is the furniture: sit with the record, don’t shout over a PA.
